Safety-pin cuff bracelets
Safety-pin cuff bracelets are very popular in South Africa. These are cheaper and can be made at home also. All you need to have is just a bunch of colorful safety-pins that are longer than their usual length and you will get the whole thing ready. These type of jewelry bracelets gained popularity when a community of 5 artisans known as Inkwenkwenzi, made them with the help of colorful head covered safety pins. These beads are very cheap and made out of the recycled telephone wire, computer wear or thrown-out plastic tubing. These materials, which are of no use to you in any way can be sorted and cut to form the colorful beads and fixed to the safety-pins. These pins are then accumulated and joined together either with the help of gum or knitted to form colorful and exquisite bracelets.
