FAQ's

Q. Where do you go to for weddings?
We travel all over Scotland. (But would give New York weddings serious consideration)

Q. How do I organise to come and meet with you?
Please email or phone to make an appointment - Generally we see couples most weeknights after 6:30pm, and on selected weekends when we are not shooting.

Q. I want to book you but you live too far from me!!!
If you have a busy lifestyle and don’t have time to head down to where we are, then we can have a chat on the phone or via email. We can also provide you with some online samples of our work.
A common thing that couples in this situation do is book the base package to secure the date, then later on when we do meet up you can decide on album type/size etc. when we can show them to you.

Q. What type of packages do you offer?
The packages are common in that they all have coverage from getting ready to the speeches, with two photographers present on your day.
The biggest difference between the packages, in terms of pricing, is the album - and how big it is. Please email for price list: craigsanders1@yahoo.co.uk

Q. How far ahead do I need to book?
First in best dressed! We recommend you contact us as early as possible to save disappointment. A lot of people do book well in advance and weekends in the summer month's go fast.

Q. Ok, We have decide we would like you to photograph our wedding, how do we book you?
Yippee! All you have to do is return your order form and booking fee. Due to the demand for our services, we can't hold your date without both items.

Q. You're not available for our wedding day, but I would like to have some beautiful Sanders photography?
Don't fret. We offer our exclusive "Just Because" sessions for people looking for portraits outside of their wedding day. Folks use this session for engagement photos, family portraits, babies or " just because!"

Q. How long until my photos are ready?
Generally 4-8 weeks after the wedding.

Q. How much time do we need for photographs on the day?
As much as possible! We don’t have any limits on the number of shots we take so it’s in your best interest to give us as much time as you can.
Generally, if we could have 1 1/2 hours we'll manage to shoot all the formal and set up photographs needed ( depending on locations ).
We love shooting weddings and would be happy to go non stop!

Q. Do you take formal shots?

Yes.. we take formal group shots, however we recommend you limit these to between 6-10. This ensures you leave enough time for us to photograph what we do best. See below:



Q. Do I get photos on the website for my family/guests to see?
Yes.. You get your own personal webpage with a music slideshow and complete set of images.

Q. Do you do video as well?
No we do not, but we can certainly recommend video guys we get on very well with. Please see our link section.

Q. What is this “Trash the Dress” thing?
There are a lot of things we’d love to do photographically on the wedding day but can’t because of risk to the dress! What some couples like to do is head out sometime after the wedding day, and do the things we can’t dare to do on the wedding day. Please note, “trash the dress” is a poor description and originated from America where it is a bit more common. Generally speaking your dress will be fine after a trip to the dry cleaners.
Definitely not for everyone, but great fun and amazing results for those who get into it!
