Recently had a lucky find in the local Red Cross shop. I bought the table cloth with the intention of re-cycling it, but now I have laundered it and admired the embroidery I am not so sure.

Sewing Machine and Embroidery
I am fortunate enough to have my Great Grandmother's sewing machine. The machine does chain stitch rather than straight stitch. I had it out on display during Art Week and it attracted much attention. I have not used it for years, I guess I should try.
