Esha coming back

Esha’s last film was Hijack that bombed at the boxoffice and after which she pretty much vanished from the B-town scene. Many even felt that the actress had bid her goodbye but Mama Malini wasn’t going to let that happen, was she? Hema has been planning on a dream comeback for her daughter for a while now but due to financial constraints it lay hanging on the pipeline for months. However the film will finally see the light of day with a couple of new additions including Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna.

The film titled Tell Me Oh Khuda produced by Hema and directed by Mayur Puri is about the journey of a girls search for her father. Arjan Bajwa plays her love interest in the film and sources reveal that the storyline resembles that of Meryl Streep’s Mamma Mia. However they’re still sceptical about whether the film would be a musical or no. Another A-list actor is yet to be finalised and Esha will be seen in an all new avatar in the film. Hema has entrusted the film and Esha’s in the hands of Mayur Puri who has earlier written the script of Om Shanti Om and the songs of Singh is Kinng. Whether Hema would be a part of the film is yet to be decided as well.

For now, let’s hope Esha gets a warm welcome back in B-town and makes sure she sticks around too.This is not the first time she is being re-introduced. The last time, she wore a bikini to step out of the sea in Dhoom, barely created ripples, as she was hoping it would take her to the top. That didn't happen, and then she tried to go hatke with Meghna Gulzar's Just Married and Vikram Bhatt's Ankahee, both heavy duty dramas which bombed at the box office.

This film is going to be her last ditch effort, as it will essentially be a dance film, and she will finally get to show off her terpischorean skills. It should save the day, or Hema Malini just might have to launch her younger daughter Ahana.
